Uncle Andrew has never appeared in a live-action film before. This character is a fictional figure from the The Chronicles of Narnia series of children's fantasy novels written by British author C.S. Lewis. He is one of the main characters in the book The Magician's Nephew, and he is the "magician" referred to in the title of the book. In the novel, Andrew Ketterley is Digory Kirke's uncle. He is extremely crazy and is obsessed with magical experiments. He creates magical rings that lead to other universes and doesn't hesitate to use his nephew as a test subject. However, by a twist of fate, he witnesses the creation of the Narnian world along with Digory and others.

The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 26, 2026. Fans of the The Chronicles of Narnia series are eagerly anticipating this reboot, especially with the potential casting of Daniel Craig, and are curious to see how Greta Gerwig will bring this classic story to life on the big screen.
